question Half these bookie rankings are rubbish — who do you actually trust?

Bit of a rant, but every time I look up a new bookie it feels like the same copy-pasted fluff. Somehow they’re all the best for odds, the best for promos, the best app... yeah nah. Feels like half the people writing that stuff have never had to wait on a cashout or deal with getting limited after one decent weekend.

What I care about is the boring stuff that actually matters once the signup sugar hit wears off — do they pay fast, do they get weird with ID checks, do the odds still stack up after the intro offers are gone, and does the app turn into a potato when everyone’s smashing the same NRL or AFL game on a Saturday arvo? If a bookie is sweet for a week then suddenly starts rejecting bets or trimming limits to nothing, that’s the kind of thing I wanna know.

Keen to hear which ones you lot actually rate and which ones are a bloody waste of time. Doesn’t have to be a full essay either, even just saying one is solid for racing but hopeless for live bets helps. Real punter opinions are worth heaps more than another shiny top 10 page.

I dunno, I wouldn't bin all of them. Some are still useful if you treat them like a checklist and ignore the hype bits. I usually skim for payment options, terms, and whether actual punters keep bringing up limits or extra docs, because no write-up is gonna tell you how a bookie acts once you start getting a few things right.
