question How do you lot size up a new bookie these days?

Bit curious what everyone here actually looks at before signing up with a betting site now. I used to just have a quick squiz at the odds and maybe the app, but lately it feels like the annoying stuff matters more once you actually start using it... withdrawals, limits, verification, how often the app spits the dummy during live bets, that sort of thing.

If you're checking out a new one, what makes you think yep this one's alright, or nah not worth the hassle? Keen to hear what people pay attention to first.

Also if you've had any proper good or bad experiences with certain bookies, chuck them in. Fast payouts? Sneaky rules? Multi promos that look good then turn out a bit average? Bonus if it's from AFL or NRL punters because that's mostly what I'm on, but any sport's fine really.

Just trying to work out which sites are actually decent to use week to week and which ones are all flash at signup then become a pain in the arse once your account's live.

I usually do a tiny deposit and try a withdrawal before I get too keen, saves finding out later they're a pain. Do many of you do that first or just dive in if the lines look decent?
