question Seeing heaps of bookies change lately — whose writeups do you actually trust?

Bit of a random one, but with so many books tweaking their apps, odds boosts, verification stuff and even payout speeds lately, Ive started paying more attention to what people are saying before chucking money in. Feels like a site can be decent one month then go a bit ordinary the next.

Im curious where you lot look when you want a proper read on a sportsbook now. Forum posts? comparison sites? just word of mouth from other punters? Half the polished stuff out there reads like fluff to me, and Id rather hear from someone whos actually had a withdrawal land late on a Friday arvo or been hit with extra ID checks for no reason.

If youve read any solid breakdowns lately, or youve got your own little checklist for sussing out a bookie, chuck it in here. Keen to know what people are actually looking at now beyond just the signup offers.

I’m gonna push back a bit on the whole “find a proper read” thing, because most writeups are useless once real money and a withdrawal are involved. I only use forums to spot patterns in complaints - same issue popping up from different people matters, one rant doesn’t. Best test is still doing a small deposit yourself, seeing how annoying the ID process is, whether support talks like a human, and if the rules page is written to catch you out.
