question Why do books limit you fast on AFL/NRL if you actually watch games

Maybe this is just how it is now but it does my head in a bit. You spend all week on AFL/NRL, follow team news, late outs, weather, rotations, all that boring stuff... finally have a decent run picking spots and then suddenly your stake gets chopped or certain markets feel weirdly unavailable. Not even talking huge wins either, just enough where it feels like the book goes yep, not this guy. Meanwhile the same apps are happy to blast promos at everyone during every match lol.

And yeah I know, books aren't charities etc etc. Still feels backwards. If you punt random multis and lose, you're a valued customer. If you stick to sports you actually know and grind singles at around even money, suddenly you're a problem. Ngl it makes me wonder if there is any point specialising in one comp anymore or if people just spread out to avoid getting flagged... idk maybe I'm missing something obvious
