Bit of a rant but I reckon most of these join-up freebies have gone properly downhill. Used to be worth a crack if you were bored and felt like spinning a few reels without chucking your own cash in, now half of them come with cooked terms, tiny cashout caps, or they let you win something then hit you with verification hoops like you've robbed the bloody servo.
What does my head in is when the offer looks decent for about 10 seconds, then you read the fine print and it's spins on some dead game nobody plays, or the wagering is stupid, or you can only pull out bugger all even if you get lucky. Feels like a lot of sites just use them to get signups and that's it. Not saying every freebie is trash, but heaps of them are nowhere near worth the hassle anymore.
Anyone actually found one lately that was fair and not a complete time-waster? Or do you lot reckon it's basically just better to ignore the free stuff and wait for a proper match deal instead?

Same here, I pretty much write most of them off now. You more bothered by the cap or the rollover stuff though? I reckon the cap is the bigger joke because even when you fluke a decent hit they still chop your legs off.

My rule now is don't even register till you've searched the promo terms for max cashout, withdrawal, and restricted games. If they bury that stuff three tabs deep, that's usually the sign to bail. Saves a lot of hassle.

Yep, that's the bit. If it feels like homework before you've even had a spin, I'm out. I just treat the freebies like a quick look around now, not something worth planning a session around.
