question Random one: are the free sign-up spins making a comeback here?

Been seeing a few more sites lately pushing the whole free sign-up thing for Aussies - like a handful of spins or a tiny balance before you even chuck money in. Not sure if it's actually becoming more common again, or if my feed is just cooked and showing me the same stuff in different wrappers.

What I'm curious about is whether any of these are actually worth a look now, or if it's still the usual story where the promo sounds decent and then the playthrough, max cashout, game restrictions and KYC hoops make it a pain in the arvo. Feels like a lot of them used to be more hassle than they were worth.

Anyone noticed this too? Keen to know if there are legit ones still floating around for Aussie players, or if most of them are just bait with silly terms hidden in the fine print. If you've tried one recently, did it pay anything decent or was it basically dead on arrival?

I don't reckon there are more legit ones, just the same white-label casinos doing laps with a new skin every few weeks. After you've been around a bit you stop looking at the freebie like a real chance to win and use it more as a test for how the site behaves - docs, blocked games, weird cashout rules, all that.
