question Welcome offers are a sugar hit — the reload deals show who’s actually decent

Bit of a rant/review here, but I reckon the real test of a site isn’t the flashy sign-up stuff, it’s what happens after that. The ongoing top-up promos are where you find out pretty quick who’s just putting on a show and who actually wants regular players around. Heaps of them come in hot with a big first deal, then the weekly offers are absolute crumbs... 25x this, weird game restrictions, tiny max cashout, and some random 48-hour expiry chucked on top for good measure.

The decent ones keep it simple. Fair wagering, clear terms, eligible on more than about three slots, and not forcing you to deposit a silly amount just to get a couple of spins. If I see a reload promo that needs a bigger deposit than I’d normally play with, or it’s locked to the same dusty games every arvo, I’m already off it. And don’t get me started on the ones that email you “exclusive” offers that are basically worse than what everyone gets in the lobby anyway... bit rich.

My take right now is most places are getting stingier with ongoing promos, especially once you’ve been there a few weeks. The better operators still chuck in the odd solid weekend reload or a midweek spin offer without making it feel like homework. Curious what everyone else is seeing lately — who’s still doing proper recurring promos, and who’s gone full tightarse with them?

Yep, that’s basically it. The headline means bugger all if half the lobby is excluded and the wagering only really counts on the dusty stuff nobody touches. I stopped caring about the flashy first deal ages ago, the places worth keeping are the ones where the reload looks the same week to week and you don’t need to read the terms like a lawyer.
