Had a bit of a spin-hopping session lately and a few places stood out for different reasons. The ones I keep going back to are usually the sites with a proper mix of older classics and newer feature-heavy stuff, not just 200 near-identical games jammed in there. If I can bounce from Pragmatic to Hacksaw to Play'n GO without digging through a clunky lobby, I'm already more keen.
Big one for me is how it runs on mobile. If the lobby lags, games take ages to load, or it boots me back to the homepage every time I switch titles, I'm out. Same deal with sites that go hard on promos but then the actual pokies range feels a bit thin once you start clicking around. The better ones usually have heaps of choice, decent filters, and make it easy to find high vol stuff, hold-and-spin games, megaways, whatever mood you're in.
Withdrawals still matter obviously, but just judging the pokies side of things, I probably rate game variety and smooth gameplay first. Some sites look flash for about 5 minutes then feel bloody average once you're properly in there. What do you lot reckon makes one stand out from the pack?
