Had a bit of a wander over the weekend and tried a handful of pokie sites that cater to us here, just to see what the current state of play is, and yeah... still a bit of a lottery before you even hit spin. A couple were surprisingly decent on mobile, loaded quick, had heaps of games and didn't smash me with popups every 3 seconds. Others felt ancient straight away.
Big thing for me was how easy it was to actually find the good games. If I have to dig through five promo banners and a messy lobby just to get to the slots, I'm already annoyed. The better ones had the usual providers, search worked properly, filters weren't broken, and the whole thing just felt less dodgy.
The real giveaway for me was the banking and account side of it. If the deposit page looks sketchy or the verification info is vague as, I pretty much bail. The sites I ended up liking most were the ones that kept it simple, showed the limits clearly, and didn't make the cashout section feel like a scavenger hunt. Funny how rare that still is.
Anyone else been trying a few lately? Keen to know which ones you reckon are actually smooth now, and which ones turn into a bloody headache the second you want to withdraw or verify your account.
