question Live dealer or bust now — the instant tables feel dead

Bit of a hot take maybe, but the canned blackjack/roulette stuff does absolutely nothing for me anymore. I load it up, play a few hands or spins, and it just feels flat as. No vibe, no tension, no little dealer quirks, nothing. Might as well be tapping a pokie bonus button and pretending it's the same thing.

The live rooms aren't perfect either — some of them drag on forever, and a few dealers look like they'd rather be anywhere else — but I'd still take that every day over the robotic versions. At least it feels like a proper game. Even the little pauses, the chat carrying on, someone at the table having a spray after a bad beat... that's half the fun, hey.

Also reckon some sites cram in way too many flashy side bets now. Every second seat's got lightning this, multipliers that, bonus wheel bolted onto a normal hand... bloody circus sometimes. Give me a clean blackjack table or a decent roulette stream and I'm happy. Keen to hear where everyone else is at with it — you still play the quick auto tables, or have they gone a bit stale for you too?

Nah mate, the auto ones lost me when they started dressing them up like mini bonus games. If I want quick hands, make em quick. If I want a proper table feel, fake suspense doesn't fool me. Live isn't safe from it either, once the side bets and flashing overlays take over it's the same circus with a human parked in the middle.
