question Before I chuck money in, how do you suss a new casino out?

Been bouncing around a few casino sites lately and half of them look the same to me... same promos, same big claims, same "fast payouts" line. Hard to tell which ones are actually decent and which ones are gonna turn into a headache the second you try to withdraw.

Curious what you lot look at first before signing up. Do you go straight to player comments, test support, check the fine print, or just see if anyone on here has already had a crack? I reckon withdrawal stories and verification stuff tell you more than the flashy homepage does, but maybe I'm missing a few things.

Also, are there any places you trust for proper opinions from Aussie players, or is it mostly a matter of digging through forum posts and piecing it together yourself? Keen to hear what your red flags are too... slow KYC, weird bonus rules, limits buried in the terms, that sort of thing.

If you've found a good way to sort the legit ones from the dodgy ones, chuck it in here. Would save a fair bit of stuffing around.

Nah you're not missing much, that's where I start too. If a site has heaps of shiny promos but players keep saying cashouts turn into a back and forth with documents, I'm out. I usually ping support with one dumb question before depositing as well, just to see if a real person answers or it's all canned rubbish.
