question Half the casino rating sites here are rubbish — what do you lot actually trust?

Bit of a rant, but I swear most of the casino rating sites aimed at Aussies are just the same copy pasted waffle with a different logo at the top. Every place is somehow a 9.7 or 9.8, every bonus is apparently "massive", and then when you actually sign up you find the cashout limits are ordinary, verification drags on forever, or support goes missing the second you ask a real question.

I care way more about the stuff that actually affects whether a site is usable - how long withdrawals really take, whether they start asking for 14 documents after your first decent win, if the pokies library is legit or just looks big because they’ve got 40 versions of the same thing, and whether they let Aussie players deposit and cash out without stuffing around.

So yeah, I’m pretty sceptical now. If I land on a review page and every single casino is magically amazing, I’m out. Feels dodgy as. I’d rather read a scrappy forum post from someone who’s actually had a withdrawal knockback than some polished "expert" review that never says anything bad.

What do you lot use when you’re checking a new site? Actual review sites, this forum, Trustpilot, Reddit, just your own gut feel? Keen to hear which ones have been bang on for you and which ones were complete rubbish.

yeah the shiny score thing means nothing to me now. I get a bit suss when a site never mentions the boring stuff like restricted countries, reverse withdrawals, or what happens if your account gets flagged after a win. Curious what other people look at first, because mine's gone from bonus pages to the terms page pretty quick lately

I wouldn't bin all of them tbh. Some are still handy just for a quick squiz at who supplies the pokies and whether the site looks half legit. It's the fake rating score I ignore, not the whole page.
