question Half the write-ups online feel dodgy — what do you actually trust?

Been trying to narrow down a couple of new sites to test and heaps of the stuff I find online just reads the same... same ratings, same bonus talk, same "fast payouts" line with no real detail. Feels a bit off, like half of it was copied from somewhere else.

So for the Aussie players here, what do you actually look at before signing up? Forum posts like this, Trustpilot, Reddit, YouTube, just word of mouth from other punters? I mainly care about whether withdrawals get paid without drama, how painful the ID check is, and if support actually replies like a human.

Also keen to know what makes a review useful for you. Do you want proper detail on payment times, game providers, max cashout rules, bonus terms, mobile play, all that stuff... or do you just skip straight to real player comments? Would be good to hear which sources have been solid for you and which ones are a waste of time.

reckon that's the whole thing right there. If a writeup bangs on about promos for five paragraphs and barely says a word about docs or locked accounts, I stop reading. The useful stuff is the boring stuff.

Had this happen not long ago. Signed up off one of those shiny top 10 pages, looked fine at first, then the second I tried to pull money out they started asking for extra verification again and support just kept sending the same canned reply. None of the big comparison sites mentioned that bit, but forum posts did once I went digging after.
