question Been rotating through the local books again — who’s actually worth sticking with now?

I’ve had accounts with most of the usual mob for years now and lately I’m starting to wonder which ones are actually worth keeping funded and which ones are just there for line shopping. A few feel fine until you actually try to get on for a decent stake, or you cop the classic promo bait and then the odds are average anyway.

For me the stuff that matters most now is pretty basic — how quick they move on AFL/NRL, whether the app falls over on a busy arvo, how annoying the verification is, and if withdrawals turn up without mucking around. Same game multis are another one... some books make them look good till you compare the price properly and it’s not nearly as juicy as it first seems.

I’m also keen to hear who’s still decent for racing crossovers and who starts limiting you the second you show a pulse. Don’t really care about flashy promos anymore, been there done that. More interested in which operators feel usable week to week if you actually bet a bit and aren’t just chucking on a tenner for fun.

Who are you blokes rating lately, and who’s gone downhill? If you’ve had any dramas with payout speed, account reviews, odds changes right before kickoff, all that sort of gear, chuck it in here.

Yep, this bit. I reckon a lot of punters get sucked in by the fancy builder and never check the real price. Curious if anyone's found one that's actually decent in-play, lately mine keep freezing right when I want to jump on.

I’m pretty wary of the “this one’s solid” takes tbh. A lot of them feel normal right up until your staking stops looking recreational, then suddenly the max stake is tiny and support goes missing.

My little rule now is do the KYC stuff as soon as the account is opened, then try a tiny withdrawal before leaving much in there. Boring, but it tells you fast who turns cashouts into a project.

For anyone bouncing between racing and footy, the ones that keep it all in the same wallet are way less annoying on a Saturday arvo. I had one account kicked into manual review after I changed bank details and since then I leave payout settings alone unless I really have to. Wasn't even about winning, just admin grief.
