question Half the sportsbook rankings online look cooked — what do you lot actually trust?

Been punting online for years now and every time I try to check a new bookie, I end up on the same sort of review pages saying every site is "top rated" and "easy to use"... yeah right. Most of them read like they’ve never had to wait on a withdrawal, deal with a random document check, or get their limits chopped after a decent run.

I’m more interested in the stuff that matters once you’ve had an account for a while — how they handle payouts, whether they get funny with same game multis, if live betting is smooth or a pain, how quick they are to restrict, whether the promos are actually usable or just there to look pretty.

So where do you lot go for proper info before signing up or chucking more money into a new app? Just forum posts like this, word of mouth, or is there a review site out there that actually calls things straight for Aussie punters?

Keen to hear which books you reckon get talked up too much as well. Doesn’t need to be a full essay, even just which ones have been solid for you lately and which ones turned into hard work after the honeymoon period.

yeah mate I'm with you, those shiny comparison pages are pretty useless once the honeymoon bit is over. I usually dig through old forum posts and then read the worst user comments first just to see if the same stuff keeps coming up around cashouts, account checks, limits getting slashed etc. Funny how the loudest sites are often the least helpful. Anyone actually found one that stays decent after you've been on there a while?
