question Beyond the bonus stuff, what makes a betting site worth using?

I end up checking a few different bookies every season and half the time the write-ups online all say basically the same thing, so I figured I'd ask here instead. When you lot are sizing up a betting site, what do you actually care about first?

For me it's usually the boring stuff before anything else... withdrawals, how painful the ID check is, whether the app falls over right when the AFL or NRL games are on, and if the odds are decent enough to bother. I also pay attention to market range, live betting, same game multis, cash out working properly, that sort of gear. A flashy promo is nice but if the site is clunky or support goes missing when there's an issue, I'm out pretty quick.

Keen to hear how other punters judge them. Do you rate a bookie mostly on odds, payout speed, promos, limits, ease of use, or something else? And if there are any sites you've found consistently solid lately, chuck them in with the reason why.

I sort of disagree with starting at withdrawals. If they happily take your bet all week then slash your limits the second you show a clue, the rest of it barely matters. First thing I look at is whether they let you get a proper stake on and if the price still holds up close to kickoff, mate.
