question Where do you lot check if a bookie’s any good these days?

I’m looking at opening another account for footy season and every bloody site I click says every bookie is amazing... boosted odds, best app, fastest payouts, all that jazz. Feels a bit suss tbh.

I’m not even chasing a giant promo, I just want the real stuff from actual punters — do withdrawals land without drama, do they smash your limits after one decent win, does the app fall over on a busy Saturday arvo, is support any help or just copy-paste rubbish?

So where do you lot actually look before signing up? Proper review sites, forum threads, Reddit, just asking mates? Keen to know what people here reckon because half the stuff on Google reads like it was written by someone who’s never had a bet in their life.

Also if there are any red flags you watch for in reviews, chuck them in. Some of those 5 star comments look dodgy as. Which bookies get fairly solid wraps from Aussie players lately?

Yeah if a review bangs on about bonuses for three paragraphs and barely mentions ID checks or limits after a win, I'm out. I reckon the suss ones are where every bookie somehow gets basically the same glowing score too.
