Anyone else feel like the low-stakes games have changed heaps lately? Not even talking huge stakes or nosebleeds, just the usual cash tables and little tourneys. Feels like way more players are using the same lines now — tiny c-bets, weird check backs in spots where people used to just mash the button, more 3-bets from late position, all that gear.
I was reading a few bits and watching some hand breakdowns this week and it really does seem like the old straightforward value-heavy style is getting punished more than it used to. Years ago you could sit down, wait for decent spots, and print off people doing dumb stuff. Now even at micros you run into blokes defending properly, floating flops, putting you in gross spots on turns... bit rude tbh.
Reckon the whole solver/GTO stuff has finally trickled right down and everyone's at least copying the basics, even if they don't fully get why. Keen to hear what you lot are changing because of it. Are you tightening up, bluffing less at small stakes, going thinner for value, or just table selecting harder and not dealing with the headache? Would be good to know what still works without turning every session into homework.
