question Free spins for signing up... worth the mucking around or nah?

Been poking around a few casinos that chuck you a little freebie just for opening an account, no card details first up, and I’m still trying to work out which ones are actually decent and which ones are pure bait.

A couple I tried looked alright on the promo page, then once I clicked through it was stuff like tiny max cashout, certain pokies only, weird playthrough, or they want full ID before you can even touch anything. Not saying that’s dodgy by itself, just makes the “free” part feel a bit less free lol.

If you’ve had a good run with any of these, what made it worth it? Was it the wagering, the game choice, how easy it was to cash out, or just that it didn’t turn into a bloody admin job?

Keen to hear proper player takes, especially from anyone who’s actually turned one of those sign-up offers into a withdrawal. Which ones are the real go and which ones are a waste of an arvo?

I reckon you're putting a bit too much stock in the freebie itself. After you've been around a while you stop chasing those and just use them to see if the site is going to muck you about with terms, game restrictions and support before you've put in a cent. If the rules read like a legal exam or they start asking for half your life story straight away, I bail. The decent places usually feel normal from the jump.
