question Which sign-up freebies are actually worth the mucking around for?

Been around the traps with these for a while and half of them are basically bait, let's be honest. Tiny starting credit, wild turnover, max cashout so low it barely buys a parmi... and then some mob chuck in game restrictions on top. Still handy sometimes if you just wanna test the lobby, banking, support, all that, without punting your own cash straight away.

I’m curious which ones people here have actually had a decent run with lately. Not the flashy ad version — the real deal where you signed up, had a spin, got through the rules, and either managed a withdrawal or at least felt it was fair enough.

Main things I look at now are playthrough, max win cap, whether pokies contribute 100%, and if they suddenly want full KYC the second you hit a few bucks. That part always gives me the shits when the promo looks simple and then turns into a whole arvo of uploading docs.

Any current offers you reckon are genuinely worth a crack? Keen to hear the good and the dodgy ones so the rest of us don't waste time on rubbish.

First thing I check now is whether the bonus bit is sticky or if the winnings can actually stand on their own. Saves a heap of stuffing around. If I have to dig through a wall of terms just to work that out, I reckon it's already not worth it.

I usually hit live chat before claiming anything and ask the annoying stuff straight away, like excluded slots and when they want docs. You can tell pretty quickly who's gonna be painful because some support agents answer like they've barely read the promo themselves.

Do you guys bin the ones that keep withdrawals pending for ages? Even before the doc drama starts, that always feels a bit sus to me.

Had one not long ago where the freebie itself wasn't anything special, but I used it to test the place and that part was actually useful. I asked support if I could verify early and they let me send everything in before I even tried to cash anything out, which honestly took half the stress out of it. Made me stick around a little longer than I planned just because there was no weird surprise later.
