Just saw the acceptances and barrier draws go up for the main meetings this weekend, plus a bit of rain floating around for a couple of tracks... changes things pretty quick hey. Few of the early faves have landed awkward gates and there are a couple drawn soft that might get a dream run if the rail is playing fair.
I was having a squiz this arvo and the market already started shuffling a bit. One drifted that I thought would be shorter, another one got backed straight away after the draw, so clearly some punters are seeing it the same way. I always get a bit wary when everyone piles into the obvious one too early, especially if the track ends up worse than predicted.
Anyone got any decent angles for the weekend? Keen to hear what races you blokes reckon are worth a crack, which runners might improve with the map, and if there are any roughies flying under the radar. Stable mail, track pattern thoughts, jockey changes, whatever you've got chuck it in.
