Bit of a rant but heaps of racing advice floating around now is just noise aye. Every second bloke has some magic angle, some "can't miss" setup, some stable whisper from a mate of a mate... then the thing jumps flat and you're left staring at the screen like a drongo.
I still reckon too many punters make it harder than it needs to be. For me, map and track condition matter way more than all the fancy carry-on, and I probably trust late market moves less than most people do unless there's an obvious reason for it. Trials can be useful too, but some people carry on about them like they've cracked the code. Half the time a horse looks enormous in a quiet hitout then does bugger all when the pressure's on.
So what's the one thing you actually lean on when you're having a bet? Barrier? Jockey change? sectionals? trainer patterns? yard mail? Keen to hear what people here rate and what you think is complete rubbish. If you've got a method that's cut through the usual punting fluff, chuck it in.
