Been giving a few different racing tipsters and form pages a run lately just to see if any of them are actually worth following, and honestly most of it feels like noise once the races get moving. The flashy ones that post big multis and miracle roughies do my head in a bit. Looks good in a screenshot, different story when you're the mug chucking a tenner on it every arvo.
The stuff I did rate was pretty basic really - people who explain why they like a runner, track pattern, barrier, tempo, wet form, that kind of gear. Even when the pick loses, at least you can see the logic and decide if you agree. A couple of the more low-key form guys were heaps better than the loud accounts trying to look like geniuses every second post.
I still reckon nothing beats doing your own check before backing anything, but decent pointers can save a bit of time if you're busy. Curious what everyone else is using at the moment though. Anyone found a tipster or form source that's actually solid, or are you all just doing your own homework and ignoring the rest of the circus?
