question Why does every Saturday "best bet" look identical now?

Bit of a rant, but racing coverage here has gone a bit weird lately. Every app, tipping page, radio bloke and bookie panel is firing out "late mail" like they've found gold, then you actually compare them and it's the same two favourites plus one roughie everyone somehow landed on at once.

Reckon the whole scene's getting flooded with copy-paste form chat. A horse firms up and suddenly half the country was always keen on it. If it drifts, funny how quiet the experts go. Feels less like real analysis and more like people reacting to the market and pretending they were there first.

The bookie stuff is the worst for mine. They dress it up as insight, but heaps of it just reads like content to fill a page before the first at Randwick or Flemington. Not saying every tipster is hopeless, there are still a few sharp operators around, just getting harder to sort the proper form judges from the blokes recycling the same public angle.

Who are you lot actually trusting these days for decent racing mail here? Sectionals guys, old-school radio, stable whispers, your own ratings, whatever. Keen to hear who's still worth a look because a fair chunk of the mainstream stuff feels pretty bloody cooked right now.

Yep, nailed it. I only really pay attention to people who put their thoughts up the night before and leave them there once the market starts shifting. If they can explain map, tempo and sectionals, sweet. The mystery 'late go' stuff right before jump just does my head in.
