question Bankroll ladders are popping up again — anyone here actually rate them?

Been seeing a fair bit lately about different ways people size their spins instead of just winging it session to session. Stuff like staying dead flat the whole time, stepping up after a hit, chopping the bet back after a rough patch, setting little stop points before you even start... feels like its doing the rounds again more than usual.

I get why people are keen on having some kind of structure, especially if youre trying not to torch the lot in 20 minutes, but with pokies Im never fully sure how much of it actually helps and how much is just giving yourself rules so you dont go off the rails. A few blokes online are talking about it like theyve cracked the code, which... yeah nah, not buying that part.

Curious what people here are doing though. Do you go in with a proper bankroll routine before you play, or just pick a bet that feels right and roll with it? Any approach thats helped you last longer or keep the tilt under control would be good to hear. Even if its just something simple and not one of those bloody spreadsheet systems.

Best thing I ever did was stop treating the whole balance like one pile. I split it into a few little runs before I start, keep the same spin size for that run, and if one chunk goes I take a breather instead of firing bigger spins to get it back. Sounds boring but it cuts out that dumb chasing mood pretty quick.
