question Flat bets, little step-ups, or full chaos — what do you lot do?

Been mucking around with how I size my spins lately and now I’m curious what everyone else does. Not talking about some magic system that beats the machine or anything, more just how you run a session without going full drongo with the bankroll.

I know a few punters who pick one stake and never touch it, even if the game feels ice cold. Then there’s others who chuck it up a notch after a bonus, or drop back after a rough patch, or do that thing where they slowly climb if they’re ahead. I can’t tell if some of that is smart discipline or just us making patterns out of pure pokies chaos lol.

Do you lot have actual rules when you play? Like set spin counts, stop-loss, take-profit, only raise after a hit, only lower after x amount of dead spins... or do you just go by feel on the arvo and see where it lands? Keen to hear what’s worked for you, even if it’s just “keep it simple and don’t get cute” because I reckon heaps of us have overthought this at some point.

I used to bump the stake up when I was down and it absolutely cooked me more than the dead spins ever did. now I keep it boring, pick a level that gives me heaps of room, and if I get a nice hit I skim a bit off mentally straight away. If the thing is just chewing through balance early I call it, no point acting like the next spin owes me.
