question Do you lot actually stick to a staking plan on pokies?

Bit curious about this because every time I read pokies chats, someone swears by some system - flat spins, raise after a few dead ones, drop back after a hit, stop once you double up, all that stuff. I usually go in with a rough budget and kind of wing it from there, which probably isn't the smartest thing in the world lol.

For the people here who do use some sort of plan, does it genuinely help, or is it more just a way to stop yourself punting like a maniac? I get how bankroll rules and hard limits can keep things tidy, no worries there. It's the whole changing-your-stake-mid-session thing I'm never fully sold on. Like, are you actually seeing better sessions from it, or does it just make the arvo feel more structured?

Would be keen to know what people are running - Martingale type stuff, press after a feature, same stake the whole way, win goal then bail, whatever. And if you've tracked it properly, even better. Reckon heaps of us do little habits without even realising they're basically a system.

reckon the best little rule is splitting your budget before you start. I do mini sessions with the same stake and if one chunk goes, I get up, grab a drink, come back later if I still feel like it. Stops the random top-ups more than any fancy progression.

nah, raising after dead spins is just punter folklore. The reels don't care if you've had ten misses or one. If anything that sort of thinking is what drags people into chasing.
