Seeing heaps of clips and forum posts lately pushing the same old doubling-up and step-up stake ideas like theyve cracked the code on pokies. Feels like every few months this stuff does the rounds again, just with a fresh thumbnail and some bloke saying hes found the trick. Bit of news for the strategy section maybe, because its definitely doing the rounds again this week.
My take... its bloody misleading when people dress bankroll management up as some magic edge. Call it a ladder, recovery plan, progression, whatever - if the game is still random, changing your bet after a loss doesnt suddenly make the next spin your mate. Fine if someone wants a structure so they dont punt like a goose, no worries there. But acting like it beats the machine long term is where I reckon it turns into nonsense.
Curious what everyone else is seeing lately. Anyone noticed more of this popping up again, especially the Martingale-style stuff and all the press when hot chat? Has anyone actually stuck to one of these plans for a decent stretch and felt it did anything besides burn through the balance in a more organised way?
