question Martingale is doing the rounds again — anyone still using it on slots?

Been seeing heaps of chatter the last few days about the old double-up style staking plans popping back up again, especially after a couple of gambling pages started posting recovery charts like it’s some fresh idea. Felt a bit 2016 to me lol.

I always thought that sort of thing made more sense for table games than pokies anyway, because one rough patch on the reels and your balance gets torched way quicker than people reckon. Still, plenty of punters swear by flat stakes, little step-ups after a hit, stop-win limits, all that sort of gear.

Curious where everyone’s at with it now — anyone actually running a set staking plan on slots these days, or do you just wing it session by session? Keen to hear what people are using and whether it’s helped at all, even just for keeping the bankroll from going feral.

I reckon the only thing that's ever helped me is chopping the bankroll into little chunks before I even start. If the first chunk dies, I can still have another crack later instead of doing the dumb reload spiral. Anyone else do the mini-session thing or is that just me being overly strict?
