Keep circling back to Martingale stuff even though I already know the whole "table limits + your bankroll dies first" argument. That part makes sense. Still... when you sit on roulette or even some even-money blackjack spots and you only need one hit to get unstuck, it messes with your head. I had a run this week where 5 losses in a row turned a tiny recovery plan into "ok why am I suddenly betting way more than I meant to". Same old story lol.
And the annoying bit is these systems kind of work just enough in short sessions to make you think you're being disciplined, then one ugly streak wipes the lot. I've also seen people talk about positive progression instead, like pressing when ahead, but idk if that's actually smarter or just less obviously suicidal. Anyone here actually using a progression system without eventually lighting the bankroll on fire or are we all just dressing up randomness a bit...
