Keep seeing people say martingale/progressive betting is "fine if you have a big enough roll" and that just sounds... wrong? I get the logic on paper, win one and reset, tiny profit, great. Until you hit that ugly streak and suddenly your next bet is stupid money or you slam into the table limit. That part always gets brushed past like it's a minor detail lol when it's basically the whole problem.
Same with roulette systems where people wait for some pattern first. I tried a light version on even money bets and for a while it felt smart, which is probably the dangerous bit. Then 6 losses in a row and the session turned gross fast. Slots are even weirder because people talk about raising bets only when ahead, which feels safer mentally but idk if that's just dressing up the same idea. Maybe the only actual "system" is stop chasing and cap sessions but then... what's everyone here actually using rn
